Day Programs

Better known as Yomei Iyun (days of delving), a Yom Iyun is a single day fun, learning experience about a particular topic in Judaism in particular and life in general. The learners miss most of the school day and are taken to a particular venue where a range of activities relating to that day’s particular topic are set up and run by the DIJE team as well as other competent and amazing advisors. An example would be the Grade 7 Pesach Yom Iyun where the learners experience 2 sessions of fun and learning combined. The first is divided into 6 stations, each with a different activity and discussion to do with Pesach. The next session includes 19 different stations (one for each of the steps in the Pesach Seder), each with its own activity that the learners have to complete in order to win the prize.
