Security
In a 2005 parent survey security ranked as the second most important priority to parents, a close second to educational excellence. With children spending so much of their time on the school campus, every parent wants to know that their children are in a safe and well protected environment. The SABJE has focused its efforts on three main areas of security:
1. Physical security
2. Security Guards
3. Security procedures
A strategic plan has been developed for each school incorporating each of the above elements. While King David Sandton will be completed in 2008, there is a lot more work to be done in completing the vision for the entire school system.
The anticipated spend in 2008 will be in the region of R2 million.
TOTAL ANTICIPATED SPEND: R7.5 MILLION
