Over the past two years the SABJE has implemented a focused approach to changing the use of technology across the King David Schools. All of the servers, cabling, laboratory computers and most of the desk tops have been replaced and upgraded. The SABJE is currently further upgrading its servers, implementing proper backup solutions, replacing the school administrative software, moving to more advanced internal communication and many other changes. Teachers have been doing training and a lap top programme has seen over thirty teachers take up lap tops and integrating them into their teaching. Every school is now using Smart Board technology in teaching and all of the classrooms will soon have access to a wireless network. There is still a long way to go in ensuring that this platform continues to grow in its robustness and the King David schools have a lot more areas of technology they intend improving. These include the use of video conferencing, cross school technologies and much more.
