Outreach - Minnie bersohn

Minnie Bersohn Pre-Primary has formed a partnership with Sizwe Hospital School in Edenvale.  This school aims to educate children who have been hospitalised for extended periods of time. The school provides education in line with the National Curriculum in the hope that when children are released from hospital the transition back to their school is as easy as possible.  All the children at Sizwe have Multi Drug Resistant TB, some are HIV positive and many have behavioural and learning difficulties. Many children are orphans and some even Head their households.  Through the generosity of the parents of Minnie Bersohn every effort is made to assist this school with a variety of resources to improve the teaching and learning.  Several collections are also done throughout the year to enable these children to celebrate their birthday and festive times with small treats all children enjoy.
