Outreach Programs

The South African Board of Jewish Education and Outreach

The King David schools are driven to make a difference to the community within which the schools exist. The SABJE runs ABET training for its maintenance staff and together with donor support provides degree study for teachers in its outreach schools. The individual schools each have an outreach partner school. The aim of all of these projects is to make a positive difference while not being patronising. Students go on outings together, assist fellow students with studies and are continually looking for ways to make a difference. The funding for such projects is housed in the King David Foundation.
