King David Junior School - Linksfield was established in 1948, the same year as the founding of  the State of Israel.  The school principal is given overall authority for the operation of his/her particular school and is responsible for interpreting and implementing the needs to ensure that the day-to-day activities of the school run efficiently.   The Heads of Hebrew and Jewish Studies are responsible for the implementation of all Judaic and Hebrew programmes.The school aims to provide a holistic education to Jewish children, particularly for their academic,sporting and emotional needs.
 

Social workers are employed to deal with emotional issues and remedial teachers to assist children who require additional support.
 

Specialist Art, Drama and Music teachers are employed and children are able to have individual music lessons during school in our newly established Music Centre.  A dedicated staff of experienced teachers ensures that the quality of education offered is consistent with the highest standards.
 

The extramural programme with its many and varied activities ensures that every child has an opportunity to participate in a wide range of after school activities.
